Sorry if this questions been asked before, I watch BBC iplayer a lot through the wii just wondered if anyone knew if there,s plans for itv player, or the other on demand channels to become available?

- #2Probably not now. It'll be more likely to appear on Wii U. However since iPlayer isn't on Wii U either at the moment it might not happen just yet...
You've mentioned in your profile text that you have Sky HD, couldn't you watch it through that? It's how I watch on demand, as I don't have to switch over the the games consoles. - #3Yes I can watch through my HD box, often watch tv in bed though and the wii is handy for the iplayer
- #4At the moment only BBC1 Bt yo can get NETFLIX programes films Docs Hisory there is a fair bit on there, and it works ok, my Speed is only 0.12mbs which is slow bt can watch a film with out it stopping im on AOL I have no HD so if you want to use there HD you can but would need a speed 10 timesthat but the picture is better on NETFLIX and BBC
better than going through SKY because of no sky HD and no Digital, hope this helps

The Homebrew Channel for Wii allows users to download custom made applications. These applications make it possible for users to do many different things they normally couldn't do, including use cheat codes, play games on emulators, and turn their Wii's region lock off.
Download a homebrew application of your choice from the Internet.
Double left click on the downloaded application folder on the computer. Insert the SD card into the computer.
Left click on the start button of your computer. Left click the 'Computer' option and left click on the removable drive for the SD card.
Right click on the root of the SD card's folder and select 'New -> Folder.' Create a new folder titled 'Apps.'
Right click on the homebrew application's folder on the computer and select 'Copy.' Return to the SD card's root, double left click on 'Apps,' right click, and select 'Paste.'
Remove the SD card from the computer and insert it into the Nintendo Wii. Turn the Wii on and navigate to the Homebrew Channel on the Wii Menu. Press 'A' to start it.
Press 'A' on the name of the homebrew application that's now on the Homebrew Channel to start it.
